Starting June 2024, I will be offering summer 3-month nature-based OT intensive sessions (June, July and August) for Minnesota families in the Northwest Metro area of the twin cities! (Including the surrounding areas: Maple Grove, Plymouth, Champlin, Excelsior, Minnetonka, Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids, Wayzata, Edina, Brooklyn Center, Fridley, Rogers, Dayton,) This is a great opportunity to supplement additional therapy services to with a boost of nature-focused intervention to help your child and family meet their therapy goals!

We work with children who have diagnoses such as: Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, motor delays, feeding and eating concerns, and other developmental delays and/or disorders.

Next Steps

 If an initial evaluation has been completed in the last 3 months from another OT clinic, I will work with your family to continue to address the plan of care and goals set by your child's therapy team.

If needed, I will complete an initial evaluation to develop the therapy plan and goals. I provide in-home I currently offer in-home sessions as well if this better meets your family's needs. Individual occupational therapy evaluation and OT sessions are held in your home (in your backyard if preferred!) or at a nature-based location (local park, nature center, etc) determined as appropriate by the therapist and family. 

Payment

Our services are cash-based, which allows for highly individualized therapy without the constraints of insurance.  Depending on insurance parameters, a superbill can be provided to submit for reimbursement. Note: 

If seeking reimbursement from your insurance company, per MN Statute, please note the following:

 

"YOUR HEALTH CARE PROVIDER, INSURUER, OR PLAN MAY REQUIRE A PHYSICAL REFERRAL OR PRIOR AUTHORIZATION AND YOU MAY BE OBLIGATED FOR PARTIAL OR FULL PAYMENT FOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SERVICES RENDERED."

I have extensive training in the areas of sensory processing, emotional regulation, handwriting, visual motor skills, and feeding and eating therapy.
