Camp-Maplewood Nature Center (Girls Ages 13-18)

Camp FUN-damentals girls camp is a place for girls of ALL abilities to enjoy nature and focus on developing emotional regulation and stress management skills, supported by pediatric occupational therapist Alycia! Camp includes two days of afternoon camp=SIX hours of therapeutic activities that include learning self-awareness, perspective taking, and coping strategies in a safe and supported place with the backdrop of a calm natural space.

Practice creativity through nature-based art and journaling. Campers will learn about their sensory preferences and explore sensori-motor and cognitive strategies for coping with stress and sensory overload. Campers will create a personalized binder of coping tools to take home to use.

Note: Camp will occur rain or shine, please come dressed for the weather. PCA’s/parents are allowed if 1:1 support is needed.
