Come experience a little taste of Camp FUNdamentals! 🌿🍂 Curious about what makes FUNdamentals in Nature different? Join us for a special one-day Camp FUNdamentals Mini Program designed to give children ages 4–8 and their caregivers a chance to experience the joy, movement, connection, and creativity that are at the heart of our nature-based programs. During this two-hour outdoor experience, children will have opportunities to move, explore, create, problem-solve, and connect through a variety of hands-on, nature-based activities. Expect plenty of movement, sensory-rich outdoor play, cooperative games, creative challenges, and opportunities to explore the natural environment at your own pace. Activities will be intentionally designed to support skills such as: * 🌿 Body awareness and regulation through movement and sensory exploration * 💪 Motor skills and coordination through climbing, balancing, carrying, jumping, and active play * 🧠 Problem-solving and flexible thinking through open-ended nature challenges * 🤝 Social connection and cooperation through games and shared experiences * 🌟 Confidence and independence through opportunities to try, explore, and take on new challenges * 🍂 Connection with nature through playful exploration of the outdoor environment This is a low-pressure, welcoming experience where there is no expectation for children to participate in every activity. We believe children learn best when they have opportunities to follow their interests, move their bodies, explore their environment, and experience success in ways that feel meaningful to them. Caregivers will attend alongside their child and are encouraged to participate, observe, and experience the FUNdamentals approach firsthand. You’ll get a glimpse into how we use nature, movement, play, and occupational therapy principles to create experiences that support the whole child. Whether you’re completely new to FUNdamentals or are already familiar with our programs, this mini program is a great opportunity to come play, get outside, and experience what Camp FUNdamentals is all about!
